Conference Venue

The 65th International Conference of Machine Design Departments (ICMD 2025) in Slovak Republic will be held in Donovaly in the heart of Low Tatras National Park, in the Resort Sport Hotel Donovaly. The Conference of the ICMD 2025 will be held on 10th - 12th September 2025.

For participants arriving via Bratislava or Banska Bystrica, the organizers offer shared transfer to/from the Conference Venue, subject to advance request.

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided at the Resort Sport Hotel Donovaly in single and double rooms, including:
- Single room for 1 night – 89 EUR per person.
- Double room for 1 night – 120 EUR, that is 60 EUR per person.

Extended Stay Option.
Participants who wish to stay at the Resort Sport Hotel Donovaly over the weekend (13–14 September 2025) can book additional nights at a special discounted rate exclusive to attendees.

Accompanying Event

Harmanecká Cave is located near the village of Dolný Harmanec, northwest of Banská Bystrica in the Harmanecká Valley. The cave is 2650 m long, of which 720 m is open to the public. However, visitors walk through some places twice, which extends the tour route to more than 1020 metres.
