Participants of the ICMD 2025 conference may submit one paper for publication by 31 May 2025.
Since the paper and abstract differ in scope and length, authors may slightly adjust the paper’s title if they wish to submit both works as separate publications. This is optional but permitted to accommodate the differences in content.
Submission and Publication Process
1. Review Stage All submitted papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee to assess their academic quality, research focus, and suitability for publication in journals listed on this page.
2. Journal Recommendation After review, authors will be notified by 30 June 2025 of one of the following outcomes: - Recommendation for a Journal. Revise your paper using the journal’s template and resubmit to email roman.protasov@stuba.sk by 31 July 2025 - Publication in Conference Proceedings. Your paper will be published in the ICMD 2025 Conference Proceedings, which will be assigned an ISBN.
All accepted papers will be publicly available, either in journals or proceedings.
3. Formatting Requirements All papers must be formatted according to the conference template and submitted to email roman.protasov@stuba.sk by 31 May 2025.
Pre-Formatting Option (optional): To avoid double formatting work, you may prepare your paper according to a specific journal’s guidelines only if: - You are confident the paper matches the journal’s research scope and quality standards (check the journal criteria). - You clearly state the chosen journal in your submission email.
Important notes: If you are not sure whether your paper aligns with a journal’s scope, you must use the conference template. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to recommend a different journal if your chosen journal is unsuitable. In such cases, you will need to reformat the paper.
4. Final Revisions By 31 July 2025, authors must submit the final version of their paper to roman.protasov@stuba.sk and await further instructions from the journal’s editorial team of the selected journal. These instructions will include reviewer feedback, required revisions, and licensing agreements for publication.
